Supervision

If you are a supervisee who is interested in working creatively, my service is designed to support your professional growth.

My supervision services are designed for therapists who are experienced or newly qualified and are wanting to take the step forward into working in private practice either online or in person.,

I could be the right supervisor for you because I can support you to be more efficient with your administration, allowing you to balance your caseload and personal life allowing for self-care that is so important to us as therapists.

I use the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, a thorough framework created by Robin Shohet and Peter Hawkins. Offering a comprehensive method of monitoring that covers all the bases. The Seven-Eyed Model is used supervision to promote reflective practice, enhance professional development, and ensure ethical and effective delivery. Supervisors can systematically address each “eye” during sessions to gain deeper insights and support the supervisee comprehensively.

In my supervision practice I blend various techniques such as Somatic work and Mindfulness together with case work discussions along with my integrative background without being nonjudgemental and a calm atmosphere,

By working with me you will gain more confidence and clarity around applying theory to practice, ethical problem solving, skills for difficult cases.

Supervision with me will help you to stay grounded and focused, build stronger therapeutic relationships, and navigate issues with confidence. Together we can work on what you would like to get out of your next supervision session by agreeing in advance a goal you want to work towards. Making you more empowered in your own work.

My qualifications include Advanced Level in Supervision Certificate, Level 5 Practitioner, Three Phase Trauma Certificate, TA 101.

With over four years’ experience and a background in integrative counselling, that includes CBT, PC, TA, Polyvagal I can support you working with trusting the process, and recognising how the past affects the present and at times the future if it is not addressed, allowing us to help our clients and ourselves to set clearer boundaries in our lives.

I have had a vast experience of working with people though out my working life, and I believe I have fine tuned my active listening skills by them. In my previous life I was a hairdresser for many years and went on to work in secure units working with people who had come from disadvantaged backgrounds or had Neurodiverse traits, thus allowing me to become non judgemental and to treat everyone as an equal.

I understand that supervision needs to be a place where you can speak freely and feel safe to do so.

As a member of BACP I follow the ethical framework ensuring that a safe and respectful environment for supervision.

I offer flexible supervision times including during the day and in the evenings, either online or in person to suit your availability.

You can access supervision with me online using Zoom or in person in my own practice which is in Rayleigh Essex.
